We have the perfect solution for anyone who works outside in a cold environment and needs the ability to take a safety shower with them to various job sites. Our line of GPS safety showers has recently been expanded to include both 1200 liter and 2000 liter pneumatic-powered, trailer-mounted, tank-fed showers that are designed for use in extremely cold areas down to -40°F.

Both of these showers are, of course, fully compliant with ANSI Z358.1 2009. They include both a shower and an eyewash that can be used at the same time. The 1200 liter tank allows for the full 15 minutes of flow at 20gpm from the shower and 0.4gpm from the eyewash. In the case of the 2000 liter shower, the increased tank size holds enough water to generate nearly 25 minutes of flow at 20gpm from the shower and 0.4gpm from the eyewash.

What about the water inside the system freezing, you ask? Not a problem. The water in the tank is kept within the ANSI required “tepid” range of 60°F – 100°F by an electric immersion heater that utilizes low-temperature cabling in order to function properly down to -40°F. On top of that, the tank is covered by a heavily insulated jacket that effectively retains the heat produced by the immersion heater. All piping is well insulated and lined with heat tape in order to prevent freezing.

The trailer comes equipped with everything that is necessary for safe highway travel. This includes LED lights, turning signals, license plate lights, rear reversing light, side and front marker reflectors, and a parking brake. The trailer will also be fitted with mud/snow tires that make it ideal for traveling through rough terrain on the way to a job site. The system is easy to set up when you arrive at the job site. The trailer has drop-and-lock stabilizer legs that will make sure the system does not move while in use.

The low temperature series of GPS showers are industrial grade systems that will always work and are guaranteed to keep your job site prepared, your workers safe, and OSHA inspectors off your back.
